Apple re not getting patents for computers, multimedia or communications, this time obtained a patent is for a future bicycle concept.
Patents issued by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office on August 5 and then show 'Smart Bike' which is a concept a la Apple's high-tech bikes. The patent was filed in the first quarter 2009. Bicycles are a unified system that allows motorists login and wirelessly share information about their activities.
The information shared includes cycling speed, distance traveled, time, altitude, slope, derivative, and other diamonds. Information was also collected the user's heartbeat.
According to the patent issued, the information is collected via an iPod or iPhone is connected and using sensors. What technology is used to measure the activity has not been disclosed, but the possibility of the heartbeat sensor is placed on the handlebars, accelerometer and GPS are provided in the iPhone.
Certainly true bike lovers already know that all information will be collected by the 'iBike' are in fact already be gained over the years since the number of mini computers and GPS technology to attend.
But of course if there is one package that provides a complete bike with measuring devices and their applications as well as easy to log into the database, will certainly bring a slightly different cycling experience by assembling your own bike system.
